Lets talk North Korea...

So the game is set in 2027 and is about North Korea invading the United States of America. It is being written by John Milius of Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn fame., that in itself is enough to sell me the game without even seeing a trailer...however, luckily for me and you, there are plenty floating around the great geek expanse that is the good ol'internet

The game is really a sequel to the 2008 THQ game 'Frontlines: Fuel of War' - the game was a war over fuel or lack thereof (Hence the title) - Clearly THQ love creating games around current affairs...

The game was brilliant, impressive single player campaign and impressive 64 player multiplayer with BIG maps that had you coming back for more...shame I migrated to console...

Anyway...onto the current topic...

When I was little I loved the Red Dawn film, looking back now...its really the storyline that saves the VERY cheesy 80's film, however, now I have the best of both worlds - the writer from Red Dawn and up to date graphics and the ability to play the game! albeit...instead of Russians...its the Koreans.

From looking at the gameplay, it looks very COD like, however, before the COD haters start, you cannot disagree that the COD franchise has one of the most immersive single player campaigns out there, great storyline, great graphics, fantastic atmosphere and best of all, fast paced gun ho action!

Note to self, don't mess with a Korean in body armour
Unlike Battlefield 3, We only have to wait until 18th March 2011 for our raid on the USA to begin...

The big question is, will this prevail and become the great sequel we all hope for from a brilliant writer and a not too shabby video game publisher / developer OR will it fail to deliver??

So...will you join the resistance on March 18th and fight against the Communist regime OR sit back and watch the red and white stripe flag burn...
